If this is a public, off-the-record, 'final warning' to Roethlisberger its about as strong as it can get:

If its more than that, and the story is accurate, it seems that Pittsburgh is basically saying 'make us a fair offer'.

Looking at the list of possibles, for a few reasons, Oakland might be the ones to make a bid.

With their long running QB woes, giving up this year's 8th pick, and maybe a little more, for a two-time SB winner would seem like a no-brainer. And the Raiders have never bothered much about 'character'.

Could be an interesting few days for Big Ben.

Video update here,

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/09000d5d8178e2f5/Ben-on-the-block

first guy interviewed thinks Pittsburgh are open to the right offer, but second guy thinks, 'it doesn't sound like they are getting ready to trade him'.

Okay, they couldn't get much worse as they currently have the worst starting QB in the league

But BBR wouldn't improve them much as an organisation, or in the O unit
