yeah carpenter is their main guy, they only swapped pitchers to take pressure off the young starter making his debut who was due to start tonight but went yesterday.

might have a punt on them so. something to look at tonight

carpenter had good stats last time out but he wasnt that sharp, put that with he was against cin then he didnt look as dominant as previous season imo

no swindon, he was once but not any more, last season for the padres he was the same, renowned for blowing big leads but last night was unbelievable even by his standards, fact is you cant have a closer thats got a fast ball at high 80s period but its even worse when he's not accurate like last night, its basically batting practice for hitters like pujols and holiday.Thing is i think he's 40 now so he's only gonna get worse, end of the day he was legendary for a long time but he has gone way past his sell by date and will get calved up this year imo.
