If it's any consolation, he's on Zeeny's fantasy team :^0

is it usual for a good pitcher to have a shocker on opening day?

swindon boy

Can happen to the best of them mate. All about confidence and getting to their normal level of consistency. Would never have expected such a bad start from "The Z" though, one of the best pitchers in MLB.

ERA and BA can be rather misleading during the first month of a new season. :(

Me and my big mouth :_|

The baseball Gods deliver a full swing to the gonads.

Gonzalez, a pitcher I (over)paid for by mistake in the auction league, blows a save for my own beloved team, while simultaneously placing a cherry on the fantasy turd parfait with an ERA of 54 and a WHIP at 12.

I can hear the manic laughing coming from castle Fenway as I type.
