After last night's excitement we're spoilt for choice today with all the stud pitchers starting. Tough to decide which games to watch. I'll start with Obama's first pitch and take it from there...
Two small ML bets for me so far, Pittsburgh @2.3 and Washington @2.9. The Bucs are usually ok at home and up against a very beatable Padilla for the Dodgers, and I decided to take Halladay's on after watching his last spring game. I'm tempted by Houston and Oakland later.

like a said earlier, padilla is a fraud, dont see what the dodgers could possibly see in him and have him starting on opening day!

well 50-1 odds for a team down only 3 with two innings left is pretty ridiculous
betfair forgot to suspend at start time, therefore everyone was pinching the money there that was left by layers thinking they were laying for pregame and not having there money left up after the game has started.

Just a quick question - how many games are usually on that are shown at a decent time to watch UK time? I know channel 5 games were all in the middle of the night but are a resonable amount on at times like tonight or is this a one off for Easter. and opening day?

youll tend to get about 4-5 games at 6pm uk on mondays and thursdays
wednesdays maybe a couple, sometimes none tho.
fridays almost all night games (except cubs home games)
saturdays about a third played in the day time (6pm or 9pm)
almost every game on sunday will be on early (6pm and 9pm)

Been trying to trade in running from the start today but its really quiet, hardly got anything matched till this kc game, not many comebacks either ,was around 70 ish down till that kc lay at 1.28 for 400, might be able to clock off without doing the lates, gonna take a while getting used to these lates again so need to ease me way in.
any fancies for later gents. i quite like oakland and houston myself.

Need to be dead careful this time of the year swindon, virtually no league form to go on, if i was going to play pre game id probably be laying all the top pitchers this early as they are priced purely on last seasons form and not giving allowance for the break, i just stick to in running tbh, hate backing something like you say and going 2-0 down early at a short price and spending the rest of the game trying to get out!

said above mate,bit of a lottery this time of year, no real form to go on, 2 decent pitchers, looks a tight one but thought zambrano v lowe looked that way too and that was a blow out...good luck :)
