I am a frequent user of all the American sports markets and never see any the book percentage below 120% when the game is in play. I am guessing it is because of the delay, but is there a more specific reason why there is no depth in play?
Not true for NBA markets or NFL/MLB markets when there is live coverage in the UK.
Of the others, NHL markets suffer because some people are miles ahead of the British TV coverage. NCAABB and NCAAFB markets struggle because of lack of interest primarily.

it's the delay pure and simple the only people that can price it up with any confidence is the canadians, but they try to pounce after significant events making uk market makers very wary
ice hockey is unplayable, unless between periods, but even then most people have been scared off baseball, dying for same reason nfl, not as much liquidity as previous seasons nba will always be ok because at worst you're 1 play behind and it's not that significant unless you're silly enough to leave prices up towards the end
