How about a home win for the Cowboys!!

Chargers if they sort out the run game and the defense. Colts if they can sort out the run game.

And you have to fancy the Saints for the repeat. As long as they keep the core of the team together, it's a hugely balanced outfit.

Yes, the Jets have to be a good shout. Such a young team and they'll have a vital year more of experience.

Carolina Panthers for me

I think the Saints might have a bit of a hangover and will be backing the Panthers big for that division

d13, who's the QB? Who will be opposite Smith to take the pressure off him? Who will be playing DT? What will they do with regards to filling the Julius Peppers sized hole at DE? Is John Fox good enough to take them to another SB? In 2003 they had an outstanding Defense and real play-makers on offense - I don't see them any more outside of the run game and Smithy.

If the Saints are caught basking in glory down South, i think the Falcons are the ones that will profit. Despite having a tough schedule and a shed load of injuries (not least to Ryan and Turner) they still went 9-7 and only just missed out on the Playoffs.

I think they're going to be a great team for a long time.

Id agree with a lot off what doggy says tbh. If peppers defo goes which seems he will that hurts this team so much, the only good thing is the running game imo and that wont work on everyone.
The falcons will be a decent team, prob 1 more year of tony g another year learnt for ryan. If they can improve the def a little and steer clear off injuries ill be betting them thats for sure.

Patriots should be thereabouts if they get a good draft choice.

Don't forget one thing.

Last season the Pats took the division which incl everybody's favs the Jets with Brady carrying a multitude of injuries.

If Brady is back fit, a few good draft choices, a resurgent wide corp and a running game the Pats will once again walk their division and be a threat to one and all.

Will let you All Know, some-time in the Pre season

Priest - Pats are some way from being contenders, and I say that as a huge Pats fan.

Moss is winding down his career, God knows when Welker will be back, the run game has been trash for about the last 5 years (2008 excluded), and the defense has a lot of questions.

Whether they draft well or not, it won't be enough to take them back to the big dance.
Report d13phe February 23, 2010 8:50 PM GMT
rumoured that peppers is going to the pats

would be some pickup if that happened
Report DoggyLFC February 23, 2010 8:53 PM GMT
I don't see how they can make the money work. Then there's the age and his motor, and the possible lockout.

For that reason, I'm out.
