The Colts have confirmed that Dwight Freeney has "a third-degree, low basketball ankle sprain" in his right foot. This is the worst kind of sprain and it means that Freeney does have a torn ligament as ESPN's Adam Schefter already reported. Freeney will be questionable for the Super Bowl and it appears very unlikely that he'll be anywhere near 100 percent. Drew Brees and Jermon Bushrod can sleep a little easier tonight. |

layed 1.51 this morning price hardly going to firm by much, if Freeney is inactive i would have the Colts @1.85

elite pass rusher out against explosive spread offense, i know the market wouldn't spike like out that far. It is just how i would personally price it with him out.

No wonder Saints to have most sacks @ 2.6 went off the board...goddam....with Saints talking up a blitz happy gameplan and Freeney out it wouldve been the bet of the century.

MIAMI -- Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney stared down a huge gathering of reporters at media day this morning and said he expected to play in Super Bowl XLIV
"I'm day to day," Freeney, a five-time Pro Bowler, said from Sun Life Stadium. "I see myself playing on Sunday." Freeney is dealing with a third-degree sprain in his right ankle. Freeney and Colts quarterback Peyton Manning attracted the most attention from the media in the one-hour session that started 20 minutes late and was moved inside the stadium due to rain earlier in the week. The crowd around Freeney was about 6 people deep, similar to the throng surrounding Manning. Several other players and coaches had assigned podium positions. The rest of the team mingled with media members, and some players sported camcorders to capture the moments. Among the wacky requests, always a staple of media day, was one directed to Colts reserve offensive tackle Michael Toudouze. He was asked to do pushups with a female reporter, and complied. |

Still can't beleive the price being offerd on Both. I'd expect things to change as soon as the SAINT's win the " Toss " Those that back the Colt's durring the season must be Laughing all the way to the Bank :^0 ..yes I was 1 of them, first had something on @ 19's
