I agree with you, public money on the colts if they make the superbowl final. Payton Manning factor plus one of those teams people will latch onto. That will influence betting markets here.
Would agree Minnesota are a bit short especially looking at Indianapolis record against the Jets in recent years. Dont think it will matter as see New Orleans putting up the neccessary points to win the game.

Colts 1.33 vs Jets, 1.85 vs Saints = 2.46 1.33 vs Jets, 1.55 vs Vikings = 2.06
Saints 1.55 vs Vikings, 2.17 vs Colts = 3.36 1.55 vs Vikings, 1.5 vs Jets = 2.32
Vikings 2.84 vs Saints, 2.80 vs Colts = 7.96 2.84 Saints, 1.65 vs Jets = 4.69
Jets 4.1 vs Colts, 3.00 vs Saints = 12.30 4.1 vs Colts, 2.54 vs Vikings = 10.40
The Manning effect is possible in the Super Bowl, but I think the price will be very close vs Saints at least Jets looks short...

dangerous game imo wanting thousands on the vikings at 6.0 and 6.2 when its the second game. if the colts win 35-7 and look awesome they could easily go to 1.6 which would mean the vikings price would have to go out to at least 8.0 before they even play. ok maybe the jets win and the vikings drop to 5.4 but when the colts are 1.31 to win its pretty risky banking on them losing. if youre backing the vikings at 6.0 youd surely be better off backing the jets to beat the colts, cos thats effectively what you are doing and at much worse odds.

The price of 1.75 suggests that is what they would go off against the Saints
reckon they would be lower and lower still against the Vikes therefore the Colts at 1.75 is a stonking price

no thats wrong! it would cost me about 1,400 to back the vikings if they win. think ive layed them for about 600 then. to be honest i dont know wtf im doing anymore! :)

i said when they were 4.3 the price was far too big for the games they would play and they should be around 3.25. obviously didnt know san diego would lose but as it turned out they were about 1.3 v baltimore, 1.3 v jets and now 1.6 v saints. that works out at 2.704!

cant see it being higher than 1.6 so probably a free trade either down or nowhere. wont be many people fancying the saints. wonder what happened to the guy laying the colts for 400k?? i didnt look. traded for a profit, not matched or looking for a rope?

Wow to be on that Vikes plane/coach home tonight....biggest example of giving away a superbowl appearance that I can remember. Can the franchise recover from that? Even as a neutral with pretty much no vested interest i felt sick for them.
Downside is that Favre comes back for another shot which must surely be 1/3 at this point.

bit annoying really cos i knew 1.85 was too high, but id got all my money tied on colts and a lay of minnesota at 5.9/6.0. i thought minnesota would go up to about 8.0 so i could trade out of it but it stayed around 6.0 so i couldnt trade out of it. if i had been able to i would have slammed into the colts again at 1.85. so i pay the price for other peoples wrong prices. i mean ive done well out of it but i could have done even better, 1.85 was plain wrong. its a case of people wanting to back who is playing so the other team/teams are too big a price. happens every year.
