injury time outs?

can somebody please explain to me what happens in injury time outs? if it stops the clock then why dont teams who are chasing in the 4th quater feigh injurys when no timeouts left to save time?

They get charged a timeout for them. Dunno what happens if they 0 left though to be honest.

Actually I think you're right, apart from in the last 2 minutes. I don't think it would be a big advantage feigning injury anyway though because the clock starts ticking as soon as he's off the field I believe.
