The book is fantastic, made me keep an eye on Michael Oher.
Its up there with Next Man Up by John Feinstein as one one of the best NFL books i have read.
LTs book Over the Edge is also a great read!

Cheers,i'll look out for the film, the books starting off eally well. He may have made their lives an absolute misery and stopped them from sleeping but Left tackles and offensive linemen in general have an awful lot to thank Lawrence Taylor for, in terms of salary an elite Left Tackle is second only to a qb.

Just finished reading his Moneyball book. Excellent read. Apparently there's a movie in the works for that too -http://green-all-over.blogspot.com/2010/01/lies-damn-lies-and-movie.html
money ball is brilliant. the blind side is even better. just a wonderfully written 'story' about real life - if you get that.
if you find yourself liking the authors 'effortless' writing style as much as the subject, try LIARS POKER. that is one magic book too.

cheers fellas,i'll get the others. About a third of the way through this book and i cant put it down, wont be long in finishing it. Superbly written and already its brought home to me the power of the game and the lives that are touch and involved in it. The never ending stream of top college coaches beating a door to his high school just to see him in practice really does hammer home the influence of the left tackle in the game.
