Just been doing the research and it seems to me that the Colts had a fairly easy schedule:
Jags - H
Miami - A
Cards - A
Seattle - H
Titans - A
St Louis - A
49ers - H
Texans - H
Pats - H
Baltimore - A
Texans - A
Titans - H
Denver - H
Jags - A
Last 2 games don't matter
I also seem to remember them failing to cover the chap on countless occasions against poor teams.
Looking at this I only reckon the Titans, Cards (early on) and maybe Baltimore in the second part of the season are what can be considered tough games.
The argument is that you can only beat what is put in front of you but this has to be one of the easiest schedules in the NFL this year.

a VERY AVERAGE patriots team had them all but beat comfortably early in the season. That was a pats team that has been AWFUL on the road!! I agree that the colts schedule has been soft as hell. Baltimore confidence sky high whilst the colts have taken their foot off the pedal...momentum cannot just be flicked on and off. Baltimore sound value. |

Colts broke baltimore 3 years ago in there own back yard and flacco will not be able to keep up with peyton, ill bet peytons 1st drive results in a touchdown.

I actually have a good green on both the Colts and the Ravens so doesn't really matter at this point who wins but I find that 1.44 on the colts utterly ridiculous tbh

Colts have improved their run D from last year no matter what people say. Also Baltimore are a average team at best, also the Colts will be able to take advantage of a v average Bal secondary. Also when they bring the blitz which the Ravens will think will work the dump offs will destroy them. lets face it we are looking at a undeafeated team if they wanted to be. ok I support the Colts but im not bias, well I dont think I am :) . But the Ravens will put 17 points at most on the scoreboard and that wont cut it

just read on the raven's website that flacco is playing with an injured hip and ankle that limited him in the last game against the patriots. bear this in mind if you are thinking of opposing the colts.

its all about the running game if its working well and they arent behind. the running game is virtually useless if youre 10 points being in the 4th quarter. they got lucky against the patriots, not lucky as in it was a fluke but lucky that they got ahead early and the patriots kept going nowhere with brady struggling, welker injured and moss invisible. if the colts dont let baltimore have such an easy start (and its very unlikely they will) the running game isnt going to be much use if peyton manning is throwing td passes for fun.

d13phe is bang on - the Flacco injury(s) is a non-story.
The guy attempted 10 passes last week & finished with 34 yds. Everything went right for the Ravens last week, TD from 1st play, a big early lead to defend/take time off the clock with run/run/run. Colts for me by 12-14. |

agreed that indy had the easier schedule but not matter how easy it is you still have to get the job done, and the nfl can always be unpredicatable sure the browns betting the steelers coomes to mind so it doesnt matter who you play its gettin the W that counts.
for saturdays/sundays game: i think the ravens are good value and that the spread of around 7 is far too high, the colts relaxed coming into the playoffs and may lack the match practice at the start, that said they started slow against the texans when in houston but still got the job done as for baltimore, i think they need to come out agressively again like they did vs the pats, run the ball wi rice, and when throwin need to do so off play action and with more wr and hb screens ill definitely be backing the ravens on the spread and will have interest them outright also |
