One of the (amongst many) issues that New England will need to address before next season starts.
Can't recall a single team in the NFL who for all intent and purposes does not have a number 1 Running Back. If Maroney, who is our number 1 (supposedly) isn't going to get one single run in a game as important as a play off tie then he should be shipped out asap. Fred Taylor - number 2 - didnt get many carries either. What the hell is going on up there? Edelman another example of atroucious play calling, played superb when called in to replace Welker as the 'go to' guy running short routs, yet hardly had a throw for 3 and a half quarters, yet when Brady did throw to him he was excellant and scored the TD's for crying out loud! Why not use him in the first quarter to calm things down and move up the field? If things are not addressed, this team in all seriousness could well finish 3rd in their group next season behind the Jets and the Dolphins. |

not aftertiming but if you have noted in the last couple of games, Maroney has hardly been used and has been literally benched as a running back since his 1 yd fumble. |

yeah
but this was the game to throw him back in as he was fresh and should be chomping at the bit. as halling said Faulk wont win you any games. lesson learned though |

Totally agree, should have given Maroney a cold shower pre game and told him to get out there and make a name for himself. The guy to me has serious confidance issues and seems to be be the sort who needs a nursemaid to get him through games. |

Bill read ace highs thread on Maroney and saw the error of his ways. He is absolutely useless. Oh, and he never fumbles according to the betfair forum experts...lol.
