Because in short football leagues, it makes for a competitive season and keeps everyone interested. Otherwise, your season can be over by Week 5.

Well, we need a unanimous vote to get rid of Ross, but I'm confident I'll be in charge for the beginning of next season, when we'll play for the 'Skyblues Memorial Trophy' ... and the waiver system will be properly organised!
kk sounds good to me by the way O you can keep the money for losing in the semis and put it towards my entry for next year so I can rightly regain my title!!!!

i dont like it myself, not enough weeks to do it imo! weeks 16 onwards are usually a waste oftime with regards to fantasy!

I've ridden the Manning, AP train for the season but have had to sit Manning for Campbell (I feel dirty just typing that) as I don't see Manning getting to half time. Basically I need a 3-3 scoreline in the Pitt/Bal game and I have a shot ....

im in the auction league final and im playing manning, i dont think he sits before the end of the 3rd imo and he wont play next week, its a long break. The only way i think manning comes out is if the jets are pressuarising him a lot.

I actually thought the waiver system was better this way (and i wasnt one of the teams that won lots of games early).
i also prefer the waiver wire this way. why should the worst team get first pick every week?

one thing i would like changed is the head to head within the division being decided on points ...i came 2nd in division with identical record to winner despite having beaten him twice ...kind of made the division irrelevant ...real NFL thematch upcounts ...why not here?

on the league standings front, was thinking off changing it to a league, like you bosox i finished with the 3rd best record going and missed the playoffs as the best 2 were in my division then they met each other in the semi's, so i think a league instead off divsions would be better?
