ok well I guess I'll start with my thoughts on the Texans so far. Missed the opener as I was away on holiday but it sounds like they got pounded by a very good Jets team.
Game 2 @ Tennessee played great, passed all over them and somehow won despite 3 ridiculously long TDs by Chris Johnson. this win has been somewhat cheapened by Tennessee's play in subsequent games however Week 3 v disappointing against the Jags, should have taken it to OT but for a typical Houston-esque fumble on the 1-yard line at the death. Defense just could not stop the run, MJD had a field day. Week 4 comfortable win against the woeful Raiders. Slaton finally got going with 2 TDs. Defense looked much better but hey, it was the Raiders. Overall I think it looks pretty much the same as last year. Offense can move the ball well but also makes silly errors. Defense just not good enough. The rookie Cushing looks good though. Arizona up next, I fear it could be a steamrollering :-( |

yeah I will definitely be watching the Red River shootout next week Hank. Only thing is with Oklahoma being ranked at #20 because they've been without Bradford, do you think Texas will get full credit if they win?

well, yeah it will obviously be diminished as sooners have dropped 2 games, but, a convincing win will keep UT right up there. It's a shame this won't be as important as last years game though :( I do hope we don't get fked twice in a row for the title game!
