not sure what happened in that game but personally use espn360 for all my NHLneeds although I do like ATH and PTI so will always need espn america
Report claimingseven January 6, 2010 7:28 PM GMT
ATH and PTI are two excellent shows and worth the fee alone. Only 3 months till the mlb.

It is so infuriating how they give you about 2 minutes of NFL highlights, then go to a College Basketball story, 2 minutes later they jump to NBA highlights, top 10 plays of the day, fastest 3 minuets** and then suddenly back to NFL for some Peyton loving...it makes your head spin, and nobody can keep up.

All the touchline reporters are rough as dogs (except Wendy Nix she is lovely), and the studio guys...are they experts? Ron Woodson is the only one I can tolerate, he talks a lot of sense, but the others...it's just point-scoring one-upmanship...how many Rings do you have?

ESPN is gash, and the sooner we all wake up to this fact the better. Someone needs to kick the whole franchise in to touch, and restart from scratch with a sports station that doesn't insult our intelligence and provides us with proper, professional, and interesting coverage.

PTI is crap, two blokes just shouting rubbish

PTI is great :D

Good looking Guy you are completley missing the point.
This is an American sports channel for Americans who have a 20 to 30 second attention span. Any more than that and their head starts to spin!
Report big-game-player January 6, 2010 9:29 PM GMT
i like em both i admit.. watch em every day.. the diff with them and our journos is that they tell it like it is.. ours are scared of upsetting the sports stars and managers etc in case they wont chat,...

in america there are rules in place about media access.. as much as i love united, fergie wouldnt get away with not talking to abc or nbc etc over there.

Report brentford January 7, 2010 5:34 PM GMT
have given superb live coverage since their full uk launch,
obviously like anything - if it's not stuff you watch don't subscribe.
Report Hayden January 7, 2010 5:42 PM GMT
yes agree , only use the espn america channel but together with espn360 couldn't live without either tbh.
Report curlywurly January 7, 2010 7:02 PM GMT
misers the lot of ya

the bowl games are worth the yearly fee alone, as is march madness
only criticism for me far too much nhl compared to ncaa basketball, guess the nhl must be cheap
Report History Maker January 8, 2010 2:12 AM GMT
I'll be cancelling. College football is the only sport that they cover that I give a f--- about, so I'm cancelling and resubscribing in autumn. I can live without the premier league games that they cover.
Report Winning-XI January 8, 2010 2:41 AM GMT
You'll happily punt away but won't pay £2 a week for a tv channel ;)
Report History Maker January 8, 2010 2:54 AM GMT
I don't bet on anything ESPN shows anyway. Watch it purely for the entertainment. Strictly horse racing for me when it comes to betting. I reckon I know racing better than the average betfair racing punter. I couldn't say that about any other sport, so I don't bet on any other sport. Doesn't mean I don't love the college football though.
