i've priced up arizona v green bay at 2.22 arizona and 1.82 green bay.

i go on yesterday and see green bay at 2.34 in the blue and 2.38 in the pink.

stick my £25 on at 2.36 and this morning i've been matched for 7.11 and the price has collapsed.

what a twot. just take the blinking 2.34 if there is that much calculated value in it.

we have all been there for a sake of a couple of nicker and it hapens, very annoying, but greed is human nature and without it, there would be none of us...maybe take Gb - 2 on a spread would be about 2.4ish?..if they win i reckon it will be more than two.....although i got severly chinned on Sunday by a point...That houston Kicker...am still seething lol (did 8 pints - was 7 and he missed an extra point and 2 field goals that my mum would have got closer)

what about all the times where you've put up at a higher price and it's been matched?
all depends on how you look at it

It happens.

I'm trading the cricket.

The only way I'll make a profit now, is if aliens land in Cape Town and kidnap both teams :|

Floz, this is impossible, so I therefore have come to the conclusion that you are full of something that rhymes with hit!

If you have your 2.34 up as a back, i.e. there wasn't much liquidity about at the time and I'm assuming it was put up for some time, as you insinuated that you left it up overnight, so you will have seen the 2.34 on the lay side ready to be matched right?

Even if someone comes in and tries to lay Green Bay at odds of 7+, Betfair's automatic matcing process would automatically give the ill-advised layer the BEST possible odds at the maximum available, so it would automatically adjust his lay to 2.34...!!

matched for 7.11

as opposed to matched at 7.11 (which incidentally could be the average price you were matched at but doesn't even exist as a price on betfair).

still thanks for the conclusion you drew. full of what??
