he is beyond terrible.

be cheaper for sky and more entertaining to have a normal fan sitting opposite Nick giving his 'insight' each week. Would be a giggle too.
Report fawwon January 3, 2010 10:38 PM GMT
Must be a nightmare sat in the middle.
Who do you look at when speaking? The cam , Nick, Kev? Waggle left and right non stop?
Report Pounf January 3, 2010 10:46 PM GMT
Both the Brit "experts" have been poor. I`d prefer Nick and Kev alone

I understand what you are saying mate, but by that logic Nick Halling/ Mike Carlson etc can't criticise anyone at all? If it said NFL journalist under his name rather than former London Monarch's then it wouldn't be an issue. Just listen to what the man says makeyou mind up form there.

The legend that is Jeff Rhienbold is back next week...

Awaiting more gems like "picking on Arizona is like picking on a deaf kid', and reinactments of nfl plays in london parks.

the brummie is terrible as was johnnie mitchell. thought the other british fella was quite good actually. loved it last night when philly got a pick saved a certain 3 prob 7 points and our mark said it was irrelavent unless philly scored points off it.

the big guy with the lip gloss from last year (Ian Allen i think) was the only guest that had a sense of humour - hate the anoracks like reynolds and tuckman
Report ND47 January 4, 2010 8:14 PM GMT
To be fair Mark Cohen (The Brummie) has been better than Gerry Anderson and both have definitely been better than that Mitchell tw@t, but then that ain't hard.

Just get Jeff on and quick please... The man is top draw imo.

I know Mark aka ( Bird ) very well having played with him in Birmingham. He is by a mile the best British receiver ever to play here in the Uk and was in the Monarchs team for a while but never got player.

The problem is that the TV folk assume that becuase you have played you must be good on TV.

Mark would not know a Cover 2 D from a bag of crisps and to ask him to anylise a game is pure folly. Gerr is the same..a great player for the London Olympians in his prime and picked for the Monarchs purely for the fact he has NFL size but deffo not the best tight end to play here.

There are MANy would do a better job than both of these but tbh what to we expect from a station that has a BASKETBALL coach front a FOOTBALL show.

As a qualified Coach and a student of the game I have resorted to watching any game on sky 1 hour late on sky plus so I don't have to listen to the drivvel,

When asked about McNabb Cohen jusr said he believed in him..failing to mention that DM has a penchant for throwing LOW HARD balls at the feet of receivers with alarming regularity when NOT under pressure and will imo NEVER win the big one with his "Happy Feet"

Bird was an awesome player and a really nice guy and tough as fook team mate but is NEVER ever gonna be a TV pundit as long as my arrse points south.

Gerry Anderson the same ... Niel rowlands also played in the UK but has a decent understanding of the game and its nuances.

Halling used to be terrible always talking directly AT the camera as opposed to the person he is answering aswell as latching on to certain "footie terms" such as "dump off pass " and " cover two" when he knew fookall at all about the game but has got alot better tbf to him.

its simple WE WHO WATCH THE GAME ...KNOW...THE GAME and should be treated as such..

these mongs they stick up in front of us are pathetic as most of us know a gazzillion time more than these guys.
