Arizona @ 30 looks a little bit value on a likely Divisional winner.

Yeah agree on the cards, and no one will want to meet them come playoff time with that offence.
There will be a team that will come from no where to maybe reach or just miss the playoffs. Havent looked through the scedhs, but shame daniels on ir for texans they could go close.

Am starting to come round to this view, recent performances have been very impressive. 5 in a row now. They are still in the mix to grab one of the 1/2 spots and avoid a 4th game. Season just starting to get interesting. Cracking game this week in the AFC.

my opinion is that new orleans are too short because the nfc is thought to be weaker than the afc and they will have the easier run. for that reason minnesota at 10 dallas at 18 arizona at 29 and atlanta at 50 must all be pretty good value outsiders.

indianapolis on the other hand are perceived as having the tough route with pittsburgh and new england. i'd say pittsburgh at 10 is value but wouldn't put anyone off indy at 7. san diego at 25 and cincinnati at 29 look a bit short.

all the nfc teams except new orleans look better value than all the afc teams except pittsburgh and indianapolis.

new england are too short especially in comparison to pittsburgh.

worst current value in superbowl market are the giants at 34. that is a hit and hope at the moment.

final mention at real long odds - miami at 75 is a possibility to lay off later.

They can realisitcally win all four of those. They should be able to get enough pressure to Rogers for him to make mistakes. The other 3 are very winnable.

If they then host Arizona in Week 14 at 7-5 who knows what could happen in that game.

Be interesting to see if Singleterry starts thinking of rotating his strating QB's depenind on strengths of opponents. Hill the game manager or Smith the gun slinger.

The Steelers are looking really good right now, and will take some stopping, especially with Mendenhall now picking up the slack left by slow Willie. Their offense is as good as I've known it.

Outsiders - Dolphins perhaps? Looking at their schedule, they have the Buccs tonight, and then it's:

I know; three tough home games, and four road games, but they are a good team, better than their current record suggests, and in Henne finally have their QB of the future. They're playing some good D, have a great run game, and although the Wildcat's got them nothing in recent weeks against team's that have prepared for it due to facing it twice a season, you have to figure they'll get it going again at some point.

What they do best is hang round in games, they're never really beaten, and they always seem to get just enough going offensively even if they're virtually shut down. I can see them winning 10 games if they can stay healthy and Henne and the WR's make the connection.

How outside do you want?

At the prices available I'd say the Panthers.

I was thinking of teams that will be on the fringe of the playoffs. Think the Jets have blown any small remaining chance after last weekend. Looks wide open in the NFC after both Philly, Dallas and Atlanta losing at the weekend.

Carolina must win to have any chance of making the play-offs, think Miami are too far back now. Hopefully this game will be the start of a cracking NFL weekend. Shame that we start getting an increasingly large amount of dead games from now on, enjoyed it immensely so far

Packers will beat the Cards in wk17 if they are still in the hunt. By then the Cards would have already won their division - look what happened last year once the Cards secured the division title.

Packers are in with a good chance of finishing 10-6, and therefore are in with a good chance of making the p/offs. Last weekend they were a much more galvanised team, with Kampman back they will be a tough nut to crack if they stop giving away stupid penalties

crucial game for the fins is week after next at home to the Pats. Don't think their record will be good enough for a W/C. Need to retain div title to make the party imo. If Phins beat the Bills next week and then beat the Pats they'll hold the tie break on them (courtesy of betting div record). Then they just need to go on winning and hope the Pats lose a game or two along the way. Still a big, big ask. But when we were 0-3 I didn't think we had mush of a squeak at all.

Big weekend this coming up. Im in two minds about GB, the way they shut down the Cowboys suggests a really good team hidden away somewhere, the result against the Buccs says the opposite. They were excellent in the first game against Minnesota, in the home game extremely inept. Must win for them today.

After that loss Baltimore look in trouble for making the playoffs, one more and their season is probably over. Big win for NYG over Atlanta, pressure on Philly now.

Couple of big games for the playoff picture next week, NYG@Denver and Pittsburgh@Baltimore look the key match ups. Whoever said they had the Jags at 300-1 or something like that must be getting interested now.

Jags might be the worst 6-4 team in nfl history. Wouldnt touch them at 10,000/1, even now.

they've got the colts coming up. if they win this week that game would be 5-7 or 6-6. if they got to 6-6 with a win over the colts you would be looking at a team with tremendous momentum and belief in their destiny. still a long shot of course but i'd love to see a team make the playoffs from an 0-6 start.

Bad news with Kampman, but the Dallas performance shows that we can play well without him. As for Harris, he will be a big loss, although i wasn't a fan of him giving away stupid penalties on 3rd and longs.

If we beat the Lions on Thursday, then with games against Balti at Lambeau and the Bears at Soldier (ok massive rivalry but season up in smoke) will be pivotal. If we can put points on the Ravens early i fancy our chances as Flacco is finding it difficult to convert as of late. Should be an interesting 3 weeks

Will Kampman and Harris being out affect Packers running or passing game or are they defensive players? Not really clued up on individual players.

Could affect their running game immensley. They will probably have to play out of the rifle formation.

Have to assume that they will beat Detroit which would take the packers to 7-4. Dallas should also win against Oakland and Philly will likely beat Washington at home aswell. NYG look the most likely team to slip up of the teams 6-4 in the NFC and I have Atlanta to beat tampa so both those teams would be a game back at 6-5 after sunday.

Atlanta have to play the Saints while NYG travel to Minnesota in the last game of the season. At this stage Green bay still in the driving seat for the play-offs although cannot afford slip-up in a winnable game with tough division matches still to play. I've got NO, Minnesota, Dallas and Arizona with a minimum of 11 wins come the end of the season so that would leave two places in the NFC, had Philly, Atlanta, NYG and GB all around the 9 win mark so might be divisional co-effecient that decides it.

Can't see the Packers finishing worse than 10-6 which should give them a playoff spot. They should beat the Lions & Bears away as well as Seahawks at home. They should also win at least one of their other 3 games (vs Ravens, @ Steelers, @ 49ers) while 2 wins would give them 11-5.

Looking at the remaining fixtures, it's going to be tight between Giants, Eagles, & Falcons and I couldn't call it at this stage. Cowboys not guaranteed top spot either and with having to go to Giants next week the NCF East could be very very tight at the top come January.

So Miami look sunk after that loss, the late Philly win has probably eliminated the Giants although there are still a couple of divisional games to play, Atlanta left it late but are still in the mix. Starting to become a lot clearer. Win for San Diego would cement there spot, Jackonsonville need to win.

titans 6 in a row,colts up next

So week 12 is wrapped up, Indianapolis, Saints and Minnesota look pretty much nailed on for the bye positions. The NFC picture is a little clearer than the AFC picture where the titans are making a late charge.

From the highlights I saw Saints looked excellent last night and am happy to hold onto my position. Could be the end of the road for Atlanta this week if they dont beat Philly, big game for Arizona aswell.

saints stepped up on D when they had to...still got ran all over on the ground...patriots got no pressure at all...saints O line is very good...brady at 7-3 threw the worst pass in the game for a pick when in great position to strike...

So jets really in the last chance salon in this game, NYJ get a victory and hope for a good set of results this weekend and it could be interesting. Lose and its allover, Buffolo are in all honesty too far back.

Baltimore have a tough game, you would expect Pittsburgh to have way too much for Oakland although a lot depends on Big ben, Jags would hope to beat Huston but could still be plenty up for grabs.

Jets move on to 6-6 and are still in the hunt. They will need a few upsets this week. Still looks a big ask, especially with uncertainty around the Sanchez injury today.

Pivitol game for both Green Bay and Baltimore tonight, especially with the number of open spots starting to diminish significantly.

I could potentially see a late season charge from the Jets still although alot will depend on the status of the quaterback. NFC looks a straight race from Giants upwards, AFC slightly more open. Baltimore lose and there will be four teams all one game back. Will not be waiting up for the result but picture becoming alot clearer after tonight.

I think this game is more important for the Packers imo. With two tough upcoming road games at Chicago & Pittsburgh. A win would see them realistically having to go 2-2 in their remaining games to ensure aplay-off berth.

Baltimore @ 95 looks the value for me.

I think they go either 9-7 or 10-6, all wheather or not they bt Steelers and i think 9-7 may be good enough for the AFC play-offs, just cant see Jacksonville making it and Miami have too tougher schedule.
