First fumble anywhere on the pitch by a RB from the Patriots all season so far?

Name one other team with that record.

The chump was holding the ball with one hand. He straight up cost them this game, dont let the 4th down crazyness sway you.

i thought it was smart D....you dont see many RBs holding the ball with 2 hands...michael turner usually does when he is going over

It was Maroney's first fumble in God knows how long. His hands are his best attributes. It happens.

That certainly wasn't the reason we lost.

it was the patriots 1st fumble in a while i bet...dont usually turn the ball over through fumbles..ohh yeah brady at denver lol..so they lost...not going to have a bearing on the season...colts look nailed on for home field advantage....patriots will be competing in the playoffs

I dont think manning would of been able to rescue the colts from defeat if maroney had made the end zone.

A rational response finally.

What was the lead if maroney had went in for the score? If the patriots decided to punt their was no guarantee manning would of drove down field and won the game as he does so many times, he was left a very short field. They went to kill the game off going for it and failed, that was a bigger play than the maroney fumble as it was definetley game over if they made it. Re-match only a few months away.

Prior to Kevin Faulk's fumble in a punt return against Baltimore in week 4 of this season, the Patriots last fumble was by LaMont Jordan against the Seahawks in Week 14 of 2008. Jordan recovered the fumble himself.

Ironically, having gone so long without a fumble, Brady fumbled on the very next play against the Ravens. The Ravens recovered the ball and scored a touchdown.

The fumble against Indianapolis was Maroneys 2nd fumble EVER in 482 carries and 34 catches since joining the Patriots in 2006.

Unfortunately the stats don't say how many of the 482 carries were with just one hand!

Well, im sorry that cold hard reliable stats have proved me wrong! Maroney is obviously a elite back. The genius football experts of betfair forum have elected their opinions so.

(shhh ace high...LM didnt really fumble a game closer at the 1...that was all some kerazyyy bellichick call)

The stat that the previous reprobate (or two) dug up reminds me of that dumb stat last season where Jason Campbell had 6 million passes to interception ratio.

As much as I want the pats to win, having a college wimp as your no.1 back will get you nowhere, without HOF's famers Tom and Moss playing lights out in playoffs.

Still, give youselves virtual handjobs on the betfair forum, im sure youll feel better about being wrong afterwards.

So you've moved your stance from Maroney costing us the game, because you've realised you look a huge** to him now not being good enough to be a starting back?

GSM.

By the way, during the 2007 Playoffs, check out who the leading rusher was.....
