tennessee are at home. hth.

yes...but i thought that may push the price to evens...not 6/4...
SD have won nine straight and are a powerhouse? I'm on the forum because I must be missing something...have SD got a key injury or two...? I know they have lost two centres this year...? Otherwise that price is just wrong. WTF do the crystal ball boys know that i don't... |

agreed mate, will be on chargers unless some news emerges regarding injuries.

somebody said on another thread they could be leaving a few starters behind. i would wait until team news comes in for definate, but i agree 6/4 seems big to me

hmm i dunno. san diego are the better team without a doubt. trouble is they dont have to win. i know you say they do but they dont really. if they lose theyd still be a win clear with only one game to go. and at home to washington they should win easily enough. whereas tennessee absolutely have to win.

Tough call this game, but the titans need this more than the chargers. The titans are going to be physical and im thinking the chargers will not want to get any injuries like in previous times these teams have met, since the chargers are already in the playoffs. So i think i'll side with the titans, though im still very concerned about the aerial threat of the chargers, the titans need to control the clock. Titans at home also, chargers travelling on a short week and warmer wether team travelling to a team that plays in cold weather.

Chargers

Cant see much talk of SD resting players so gonna take a chance on the +3 now cos it'll be gone on friday if they play most of the regulars.
Tennessee were pretty poor 2nd half against Miami i reckon SD will be up for it as a win seals the deal for them and its a high profile live Christmas day match with the whole nation watching so cant see them going through the motions and relying on beating the skins in week 17. |

chris johnson will tear them apart imho

they're 6/4 because they aint gonna win. get your moeny on the titans
|

The prices are "out of synch" because the Chargers can afford to lose this game and still clinch 2nd seed with win at home against the Redskins next week. Titans HAVE to win this game to keep play-off hopes alive. Still looking for a SD win.

didnt dallas have more to gain than the chargers from beating them also.. and that was in dallas.. especially given the run in dallas have..
if there is a full chargers team out even away.. the +3 or so points is the call... the titans wont badly beat them even if they win. and the chargers are looking as good as anyone in the league in my opinion.. good luck all |

Pointless taking SD+3.If you think they'll want this game you should back them straight up.
Having said that,at +3 they will attract all the public money and that is a good enough reason to keep away from them. Tennessee -3 for me. |

titans have won 7 of last 8 - and had some chances to beat the colts in the other game, some bad 4th down calls when red zone went to fisher's head!...i hate the chargers and rivers is due a game with loads of interceptions, he's vastly over-hyped and LT is over the top...titans by at least 7 although they will miss bulluck...

Bit of a useless stat but Rivers has not lost a game EVER in December. Chargers have won 16 December games straight

Quite a biased post. I would say the Titans have been on a great run yes. But the Chargers have been playing far better. The Titans might have had their chances vs the Colts but so have a number of teams. What about the Titans winning razor blade matches at Houston or at home to the Warnerless Cardinals, or Miami last week? I don't think River's is overated. I used to think he was, but he appears to be getting better each week, he has been nearly flawless this term. Tennesse's problems come through the air on both sides of the ball and I expect the Chargers to keep Tennesse quieter than expected on the ground. If the Charges are at 70% or more they win this game. |
