Waiting for Uncle O's TNF thread then we can bet accordingly ;)

-3 shows how much doubt there is over whether ind will be going for it. think it's one to avoid.
|
By:
Would fancy them to go for it as chances to go 16-0 dont come along too often.
Think -3 is fair enough and will take the chance. |
By:
16-0 might not be that important overall but this line of thinking wont come into it at the start of the game and as its unlikely the jags are good enough to build a lead over the colts then its colts all the way
-3 a steal! |

Colts have not yet locked up the conference top seeding, but will be very keen to protect Manning for the simple reason that No 2 QB Jim Sorgi has a shoulder injury and has not even rehearsed for two weeks.
I reckon they will be attempting to run the ball a lot more, but how much faith do you have in their rushing attack? Alos, might they pull Freeney out after one or two quarters? If so, they will be ripe for the beating. I'll be taking Jax and the points. |
By:
Though the -3 looked good and I have Indianapolis well ahead on my rankings. Wont be staying up to watch so may just take the handicap bet and put a lay in somewhere.
Only issue would be if Indianapolis get behind at any stage any don't feel the need to chase the game particularly hard. Sure they will want to keep momentum up going into the playoffs so not too much of a worry. |
By:
Having wrapped up the AFC's No. 1 seed for the playoffs, the unbeaten Indianapolis Colts have very little at stake over the next three weeks.

Indy playing a weakened side, Jax look the bet here..

Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney will play tonight against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Michael Lombardi of NFL Network is reporting.
Lombardi also reports that Colts defensive end Robert Mathis will be a game-time decision. Freeney is officially listed as questionable with the abdominal injury that has already forced him to miss one game. Given that Colts coach Jim Caldwell specified that "healthy" players will play now that the Colts have locked up home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, the report that Freeney will play is a surprise. Mathis, who has a quad injury, is also listed as questionable and also hasn't practiced this week. Between the two of them, Freeney and Mathis have 21 of the Colts' 30 sacks this season. |

woohoo thursday night football and im not in work until tomorrow night so i get a chance to stay up and sleep all day with good reason, also get paid at midnight!! best not gamble tho this close to xmas - especially as my nfl bets as of late have all been losers - fancy indy -3 here - just checked out the consenseus picks on wagerline.com and they have 78% of the money backed on indy -3, hmm what is it vegas pros say? go opposite when its more than 70?
|
By:
What sort of time will we get a definitive idea of what's going on with Indy?
|
By:
We know now imo, but for sure about 1 hour before ko
|
By:
Nice price colts and I think 100.5 yards for MJD is high, might be worth a lay
|
By:
Great price on the Colts. I don't buy into this talk of a team on this sort of run not giving 100% to win, so Colts for me.
|
By:
if looks to good it is??? ffs do you never learn from the last nfl game
|
By:
unders. weather is bad tonite

if looks to good it is??? ffs do you never learn from the last nfl game If that's directed at me, I don't think it looks too good, I'm saying that IF the money opposing the Colts is based on them not giving their all to win, then I think it's a misguided reason to be laying them. Anyways, sounds like one of us will win, so good luck with your bets. |
By:
no rob-it is directed at anybody who thinks that indi is a "shoe in",like the 95% of us who got burnt fingers betting on the cards...some are still in hospital having skin grafts
|
By:
what if the same people (and i did think the cards were a good thing)
won enough on other bets to easily cover it? out of 5 weekend selections (always to trade i admit) i had 4 wins from 5 with just the cards losing.. just cos ppl like me may think its a good thing.. doesnt mean we have to go nutsack deep in it you know |
By:
i never went nut sack deep into it(£620 which i am still a litte sore about,as i felt the line was 3 points out),but still placed the bet,but many did punt to there max for a nfl game, anyway, like i have said i am swerving it,will watch though.gl all
|
By:
Ok people are going too deep . The fact is the colts are a far better team than the jags and that will do most people
|
By:
1.58 colts looks massive to me
|
By:
Indy -3.5 for me
|
By:
1.6 fav should have a far larger cap than 3.5 . ..
much rather take 2.06 on +3.5 than 1.6 on just winning |
By:
