little bit of further analysis to pass the time:
Sanchez this season 154 vs Carolina3 119 vs Buffalo 7 163 vs New England 10 136vs New England 10 ------------------------------------------ 272 vs Houston 14 143 vs Oakland 17 138 vs New Orleans 18 ------------------------------------------ 172 vs Miami 23 265 vs Miami 23 212 vs Jackonsville 26 171 vs Titans 31 number after the team name denotes their team rank re pass yards given up. as you can see (and as i guess might be inevitable) sanchez has failed to light it up against any team with decent pass protection - obviously in part this would have influenced the jets game plan but still, with the exception of the Houston game he hasnt got over 170 all season. even worse, his worse performance of the season was against buffalo where he made a very poor 10 passes from 29 attempts. he is averaging 25.6 attempts per game so the jets have stuck with him to a certain extent. the prosecution rests its case - sanchez wont be getting over 175 tonight save for a long run after a completed pass. |
By:
obviously should read with exception of houston game he hasnt got over 170 against a top 20 pass defence side
By:
conditions good tonight as indoors
By:
aye i missed that out of my analysis - the location is the one X factor that i cant really decide upon

By:
pmsl missed wide open pass for td then got sacked
By:
Wide open?
By:
what would u call it? 17yds, be lucky to get 100 at this rate
By:
phew
By:
dropped pass would have put sanchez at 100yds... but the wr dropped it. off to bed, no chance of sanchez making the line

Bit of a lucky break with Sanchez going off injured as he had 104 yds with 25 mins still left to play - Clemens only threw 2 passes after that (1 completion for 14 yards).
Jets probably still would have ran it plenty but it would have been tight Still, a win is a win is a win and you're richer to me after my overs bet went south! |
By:
Nice :)
I think you might have struggled there tbh. |
By:
might have struggled where orioles? if he had stayed on? i got lucky with the dropped pass in the 1st half which would have been an 84yd TD
By:
fair play to you,a bit of luck is what's required sometimes,i did a jets -2.5/unders double and fell asleep at ht thinking that was blown as well, funny old game
By:
Sorry, Legal ... I thought he was at 144 yds when he went down, not 104! You should've got home, although he was taking some shots downfield and that Edwards' drop was a crime.
