Report STEPTOES YARD November 26, 2009 7:43 PM GMT
Would they bother going for a FG even on 4th down with game already won ?
Report Onionss November 26, 2009 7:43 PM GMT
Cheers raskolnik, will do :)
Report graycm57 November 26, 2009 7:44 PM GMT
As far as I would be concerned Culpepper is a non-runner and should be voided. -But that's common sense ;) -

You look at the MLB markets during the season they state the listed pitcher must start or bets are void, I don't see why they can't do it with NFL QB's.
Report Ross8481 November 26, 2009 7:44 PM GMT
Why not, McCarthy is aggressive, and its free points, not as if Lions are going to score 2 td's with 4 seconds on the clock
Report Ross8481 November 26, 2009 7:44 PM GMT
Hmm not conclusive anyway
Report STEPTOES YARD November 26, 2009 7:45 PM GMT
Surely if they are aggressive they will go for TD even on 4th ?
Report Ace High November 26, 2009 7:45 PM GMT

Report Onionss November 26, 2009 7:46 PM GMT
Good point graycm57, I will see what they do.

Hopefully they use common sense, but this is betfair, all they care about is their commission.

8's is a tempting price for a scoring play
Report graycm57 November 26, 2009 7:47 PM GMT
Atleast my GB winning margin 12pts or more is safe so that basically cancels out what i'll lose on the points.
Report skyblues November 26, 2009 7:48 PM GMT
They will not kick a fg or pass the ball, only way you get a scoring play here, is a fumble return or a punt return. either i cannot possibly see happenening.
Report Monkfish November 26, 2009 7:48 PM GMT

Report Onionss November 26, 2009 7:51 PM GMT
punting it??

interesting
Report skyblues November 26, 2009 7:51 PM GMT
packers were never going for it, they were only gonna rn the ball with lions having no timeouts, u only had a punt return chance really as they will be bombs now and prob get picked.
Report graycm57 November 26, 2009 7:51 PM GMT

Report eyres28 November 26, 2009 7:53 PM GMT
thats wots rubbish about the nfl.

such a drab finish ... dont understand the logic of running the time down after the 2min warning ... surely 2nd and 10 go for throw chance of challenging the score and racking up some more points ?
Report dal the bok November 26, 2009 7:53 PM GMT
1 down 2 to go
Report skyblues November 26, 2009 7:53 PM GMT
they would have had a 1st down with another 7 yds though wouldnt they?
no need to take the fg most teams arnt going to run up the score when the game is over and no real time on the clock.
Report skyblues November 26, 2009 7:55 PM GMT
eyres
why should they run up the score its not the college footie where the margin of a win means a lot. These teams want the win to make the playoffs they dont care about the score off the game, apart from maybe coaches who dislike other teams.
Imagine if they had a pick 6 under 2 mins then onside recovery and lose the game, what happens then?
Report eyres28 November 26, 2009 7:58 PM GMT
they were 3 scores ahead ... wud need three TD and one 2point convo.

surely summit can be done cos it must be worse than watching football teams play hold ball in the corner flag ... its so boring - i hate it wen oldham do it
Report skyblues November 26, 2009 7:59 PM GMT
yeah, but teams dont like running up the score because off the sportsmanship, unless its against disliked teams.
