Well that's the first lie ;) |

have they won the division then ?
|
|
By:
were they not in as lofty a position last year in and bottled it in the end against the chargers with Cutler who imo is 3 times the qb of orton.

Think of it as a lesson learned. Most punters don't have a clue. If there is a consensus on here then if anything, the OPPOSITE is likely to be value. Going against popular opinion is rarely a bad idea.

Yes , and I was one of them. Been a Bronco Fan sence Elway's Rookie day's. Last year's Disgrace and I couldn't take it any more. So started looking else where. Still Warm's the hart to See them coming back, Will I return ???? / ( would like Defence to ATTACK player's - & Not sit back handing ground ) * love to SEE them take care of the Charger's, will it happen ? those that took the 8's in divison ( Congrates ) is now the time to trade ? * * * If God is not a Bronco fan, then WHY are sunsets Blue and Orange? - Jon Tollerud 5/22/08 |

Reading lifetakers posts gives me a headache.

To be fair, the Chargers have had a rocky start to the season - the loss of Jamal Williams is a huge blow, and if you couple that with games against 3 very good running teams - you have the reason why they're 2-2.
The Broncos might be 3-2 at this point in time as well, but such are the way things go down in sports. Fair play though for backing them after the summer they had. |

I backed the Raiders.... ooops :)

Denver Broncos.....will not make the post season.

Lovin all this bronco hating , every week its the same they will get beat this week the schedule will beat them they got lucky the cowboys poor this year brady not the same . Surely now they will make the postseason 3.5 game lead over chargers should beat raiders again and the chiefs and maybe they just deserve it . You can only play your games you dont pick your opponents they defending like never before and as for Orton will blow it , only 1 interception in 6 games and from a 60+ yard hail mary play into treble coverage. They consistent every single week they are clearly playing as a unit and this is a new team improving every single week . Hope they start as outsiders against the ravens in 2 weeks and im sure they will because Ravens turned out to be poor this season and surely they wont win this week . Who wins anything without a little luck GO BRONCOS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chargers have no excuses....jamal williams being out makes a difference but that cant be used as an excuse...they still have plenty of talented players....i doubted the broncos this year...the D has been fantastic...you need luck to win games of course...denver have had plenty of luck....division was wrapped up last night

I would say the WIN has brought the Town Back to L I F E
Happy Face's :) Everywhere , |

The stats don't lie. Denver have a VERY good defence this year and they are consistently underestimated imo.
And yes, I have backed them :-) |

After last night, i am now a believer. I will admit i was a massive doubter of Denver (mainly because i do not rate Kyle Orton @ QB). However Denver have proved me very wrong and caused great pain to both my heart and even more so my pocket :-( Over the last 3 weeks Denver have proved they are one of the top teams in the NFL - THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL!! GL Broncos
However i think they will lose in play-offs, their defence is full of veternans and they cannot keep this level of play up for the whole season. they WILL Tire. I think they will just absolutely collapse at some stage in the post season and get torn apart and lose by 20-30pts. It won't be pretty when it happens, mark my words. |

well there ya go. an interesting one. i like to think i know what im doing but im not going into that lol cept i do ok umm i dunno if i posted but i may of put you off i cant remember. i wouldnt of backed denver in a million years so its a good point yeah i think san diego are overrated the trouble is if they play like they can they blow teams like denver away. but the defense is awful so if they dont play hot then it can go wrong. do i and others overestimate how good san diego are...yes they just arent that good anymore. the running game is innefective. the o-line is having trouble. the defense is non-existant. injuries have caused problems though. are denver underrated? i dunno not really i mean they didnt look very good last year but got to 4-1 then threw it away. like someone else said swapping cutler for orton didnt seem a good move. i dont see how you are meant to turn a team that were lucky to finish 8-8 last year into a 6-0 team this year with a rookie coach and a worse quarterback. dont forget they lost 52-21 to san diego in the last game when the division was on the line, hardly a sign to start backing them this year. plus the schedule looked horrible. but anyway ya cant complain people put you off, you have to make your own decisions.

i dont rate the broncos and backed vs them 4 weeks so far i think lol
so credit due where credit due....i underated them big time but.......broncos usually find a way to f**k up in recent years whilst chargers usually come with late surge and miracle wins etc.... so its not over yet mate imo |

It certainly not over yet wish it was (backed Broncos OR @ 95 after week 1, fingers crossed) but cant understand the amount of stick they gettin . Anyone remember the game when an unknown second string qb came in for an injured (Drew Brees i think ) at new england and look what happened there , guess who was qb coach for NE then. Orton looks good got the games under his belt his record as a starter in the NFL is something like 18-2 anyway so he cant be that bad. Broncos never had a decent defence for years and now they rockin. Mcdaniels might only be young but he helped the pats get 3 rings. Maybe this is the start of something at mile high and maybe not but goin 6-0 with a virtually new set of players who will be stronger every week as they get to know each other must be even better than they gettin credit for.
