Rodgers is mobile enough to avoid the excellent Dallas line
More likely to be killed. |
By:
don't see it ace, it'll be more about Romo's mistakes than what rodgers does anyway, we all know he can't go too long without a stinker...it's just the way it is.

By:
GB can win if they use Grant more.
Dallas D will kill rodgers if its a pass-fest. |
By:
GB right now, a bad football team.
By:
if gb stop giving away stupid pens they may have a chance
romo due a bad one |
By:
GB also need to tighten up their special teams
By:
people should think about who GB lost to by 10 pts last week before piling in..
By:
Can't see GB stopping the run, on top of their pass protection problems. The 9th place run defence ranking is purely because they've played Browns/Lions/Buccs. The three headed monster could have a field day. Kampman out. Dallas (-3) for me and could easily top up on -3.5 @ 2.32 which seems more than fair.

I can see the packers winning this..

By:
AR will get destroyed and Ware will be the man to put him in hospital, this could get ugly no matter how badly Romo may or may not play

I am a Packers fan and I can't see us winning that Dallas front 7 will get to Rodgers as much as they want, would strongly advise against backing Green Bay!!!
By:
Mugs like d13phe talking about how something is due.
Why? Terrible logic. |
By:
not really when you look at romo's history and green bay's defensive ability to make quarterbacks look silly
By:
McNabb will throw in a wobbler tonight !!!!!!!!!!

Mugs like d13phe talking about how something is due. Why? Terrible logic. as a cowboys fan i have a short memory about mr romo's antics. |

By:
GB's excellent secondary could intercept Romo 3-4 times today, if they do manage turnovers they may win, but i wouldn't bank on it. GB's line is giving Rodgers as much protection as a tissue umbrella this term, multiple sackings are on the cards and Dallas will cover the hcap easily.

@cj...JAMIE DUKE had it spot on...its rodgers fault half the time as he is holding the ball too long...he is mobile enough and has lots of great receivers...also said he has the same O line brett had and he was hardly on the floor....btw jamie duke has picked the upset result every week since the start of season

Actually agree there Harry (although i think the line isn't great). I wonder because he is very mobile whether he thinks he can hang on to it and get it past the line himself rather than just throwing it away.
I really expected good things this year, and its teetering on yet another disaster, great QB, decent RB, good receivers, great secondary, yet we keep losing games to awful outfits like Tampa! |
By:
didnt see last weeks mess against tampa bay but against minny the receivers didnt get free a lot and i thought rodgerscame back well in that game
its the pens and stupid plays that cost GB time and time again the coach is on borrowed time |
By:
had an offence meeting this week apparantley..hopefully that will of helped...they should be putting up points for fun...just need some interceptions...think they will get it tonight..anyone know what the weather is like

By:
Dallas should p1ss this imo. far better team.
By:
The Cowboys secondary can't cover (maybe Horsecollar Williams wasn't the problem afterall?) - if Rodgers gets any time (which is hardly a given seeing how his O-line is dire), the Packers have the receivers to pick apart Dallas.
Should be a very good game this. |

Temp is in 40s

I echo a lot of the points here. Dallas will give Rodgers hell, but then again Romo isnt exactly the most efficient qb and is liable to blow up- especiall aganst a good Packers secondary. As always turnovers will decide it imo

I really expected good things this year, and its teetering on yet another disaster, great QB, decent RB, good receivers, great secondary, yet we keep losing games to awful outfits like Tampa! You can definitely tag more of the blame onto Rodgers holding onto the ball for too long these past 3 or 4 games but for the first month of the season he wasn't to blame for me. The offence held a meeting this week with the coaching staff present but staying silent......the offensive leaders all stood up and had their say with players telling a few home truths about each other........word soon got back to the defense who said it could only do good but wondered why it had taken so long to hold it. Players admit it's a season defining game....win and they still have a shot at a wildcard, lose and the season is over with a lot of player personnel looking for jobs next season....... along with a probable head coaching change for next season. Personally think GB will put on a much better display this week but after watching that O line for eight weeks they i won't be putting another penny piece on them. |
