Does anyone know why the odds/spread is so poor on multiples. Does it tighten up nearer kick off perhaps?

Hi - Here's a reply from the Multiples team: "The multiples product takes it guideline price from the exchange, and due to poor liquidity, it can result in the prices not reflecting correctly. The prices improve closer to the off time, as well as markets which have more interest and therefore liquidity. We apologise for any inconvenience."

So are these odds just a guide then and you get SP ?

Hi, here's the reply from the Multiples team: "Apologies for the late reply, the odds that you take when placing your bet with multiples are the current odds reflected from the exchange, minus Betfair 5% commission rate. As prices can fluctuate, the prices you have taken may be better or worse than the SP of any given event."

Does SP mean BSP or is it only horseracing that has BSP

SP is starting price. I think on horses you can take Betfair SP.

Seems to me multiples must be poor value because when the spreads are quite wide the chance of the odds moving in your favour must be significantly less than them moving your way.
