UFC 246 - McGregor vs Cerrone

Conor sounds good, so I'd like to think his old man has given him a slap and he has gotten his head back in the game.

Conor's takedown defence is very good, which is how they talk about Cowboy working him. Only thing Conor has left if he loses, is Nate, so think we're likely to see an Alvarez version of Conor, rather than the Khabib version.

Love Cowboy, so glad to see him getting weighed in properly with this fight.

Gadelha and Holm should be doing numbers on Grasso & Pennington, so might try and bet myself into free tickets for the summer card.

i cant see cowboy winning either, as you said conor's TDD Is good, but his skills wont matter if he's gassed while trying to do it, but cowboy isnt that sort of fighter to wrestle grind. especially with his striking skill.

rest of the card is pretty terrible, yusuff vs fili should be good, holly should beat pennington, think i will bet her small but hard to trust her at this age, but i bet her because im not sold on pennington's mentality after some brutal losses

McGregor should win but I won't be shocked if he doesn't.  Only other fight I want to see is Holm v Pennington.

Conor's tank is better than given credit for, although he's never going to be a proper 5 round beast.

Best round he had against Khalabeeb was the 3rd, and he did better against him than anyone else has.

Given Claudia's fight is off, Holm is the only bet I've have, too. Like you say, can't go mad as she's not one to get too heavily involved with at this stage of her career. I just think for all her enthusiasm, Pennington is a level below anything Holm has done.

damn that's a lot, i haven't used tv pics for a few years as im travelling, but it didnt used to be a 10 sec delay by any means. could be courtsiders i guess, not sure where someone would get a faster feed though..

yeah ppl **** on him way too much for his loss to khabib, did much better than people give him credit for, at least defensively.

He was, and if he was acting out like he says he was, surprised he even did that. I thought he was a lost cause if I'm honest, so that was impressive, albeit Donald being someone not on the upgrade. He's still a top fighter, who has only come undone against the real top guys.

Just hope they keep him away from Vegas at IFW, I'm already out there for a month, and don't want to be dropping Conor money on tickets for 252!

Oleinik is great, that Greene no great shakes, but almost all of his wins are subs. Amazing when you've had so many fights!
