Wanted to back Cruz at odds against at the weekend but my mind told me not to and the injury would play it's part
Great win for him though all the same. Watched the Mitrione fight last night and the eye pokes didn't help him at all. The picture of his back eye yesterday looked horrendous !! I only really had one bet on the card and followed the money on here on Sanders to beat Blanco at evens and it worked out well in the end.
Thoughts on the big two title fight announcements coming up with Conor and Holly ?

Were you posting in 'Other Sports' before? I don't recall ever seeing an MMA forum, not that I frequent the forum that often. I know I asked for one about 4-5 years ago and was told no. I guess this is another sign of McGregor's influence!

I think Meisha has a better chance of beating Holly than Ronda but in saying that Holly will find her easy to hit.Be interesting to see what happens if Meisha can take her down. Connor v RDA that's a hard one to call. |

We used to have a few posts on the Other Sports forum, and when that went a few weeks back, I thought it was doomed for the MMA brigade.
Forgot to add on the earlier post that it was a disappointment again to see Ross Pearson beat. A promising career 18 months ago is now steadily on the decline and he hasn't hit the high rankings that he and many others hoped he would. |

Mcgregors looking in cracking shape via his social media posts really bulking up. He has the height/reach advantage over RDA as well so I think you cannot look past The Notorious one. I am biased though

 weird that it took so long for betfair to put this one up, considering their big push into mma market's and live betting with the sportsbook. I'm actually allowed a decent amount on their now when I bet mma! Cruz v TJ was a hell of a fight, a definite sign of the way the sport is evolving. I had cruz winning although it was close. and TJ looked worse at the end of the fight I'll make a thread for this weeks event seen as no one else has yet. |

Roy Nelson To Win By KO TKO, also will have something on Johny Hendricks To Win By KO TKO or DQ @ 4/1 but it is a risk as thompson is no pushover who has knockout power himself

canr wait for the mcgregor rda fight moving up the weight means he doesnt have the height and reach over the guys at 155 thats for sure not often u see rda 2.1 to win a match then again if mcgregor wins this then u wont see these sort of odds on mcgregor again, really dont know who to bet in this 1 lol even tho id love for mcgregor to win

i thought he won the fight didnt think it was a split decision, thought he won it, i did think for a few secs he was gonna get robbed, altho that could be the bias in me, what u think raz? |

yeah those 2 fights he had with chandler in bellator were amazing, some of the best ever.. I wish he'd fought like he did vs pettis sonner though, he would of avoided a lot of unnecessary wear and tear. Ye i had him winning, it was close fight, but my initial impressions were that he managed to do enough to get the job done. even if he took the most damage. I'd have to watch it again tbh my memory of it is a bit fuzzy, but watching them live at 4 a.m sometimes does that lol. it didnt surprise me that it was a split, as I never trust the judges to get the scoring right even in the most clearcut examples like pearson vs sanchez. I wasn't impressed with pettis though, he showed a huge hole in his game that he hasn't been able to fix, and it's the same hole he displayed in his ufc debut vs guida. also he looked a lot softer than normal...possible he was using prior to the new testing.

steve thompson looked amazing ill be lumping on him when he gets a title shot, dissapointed in the nelson fight old roy hasnt ko'd any1 in a while now maybe time for him to retire ino he won but was a boring match which isint said much in heavyweight fights with some1 with ko power like big country

I seem to remember condit had a big announcement planned soon, that could be up in smoke after Wonderboys KO, enjoyed the karate kid celebration as well hah.

cant wait too see what happens he has to be in with a title shot soon seeing as he just destroyed the former champ and become the first person to ko big riggs, ino condit will probs be getting a shot seeing as alot of people had had winning the fight v lawler, it will be interesting to see what happens
