Ann Widdecombe's performances on Strictly Come Dancing are now legendary, and make the show completely unmissable - and the former MP is now such a hit that she is the favourite to win the whole series!

Former MP Ann Widdecombe now stands at odds of 12-1 to win Strictly Come Dancing after a series of hilarious performances, which have seen her fly onto the dance floor by high wire and dragged across the floor by her professional partner Anton Du Beke.

However, when the show began betting shops were offering odds of 150-1 on Ann - who has consistently scored very low marks from the judges - winning.

Another of the show's contestants, Jimi Mistry, admitted he feels Ann deserves to win because of all the hard work she is putting in.

He told The Daily Express: "Ann is amazing. She keeps herself to herself very much and just works hard.

"Everyone else is running around and bantering but Ann is very quiet and is sitting in a corner.

"She's very calm and I do think she could win. If she wins, she'd deserve it.

"It's a show about entertainment and dancing and this year the public rightly have their say in who wins."

Quite right! We would LOVE it if Ann won! Imagine the judges faces!
