The above pic is a screen shot from Timbuctooth's 2021 youtube video, but oddly the maths Backing Joe Biden (£87,415.07 @ 1.70 = £26,329 profit) doesn't add up, if it were real it would show £61,190.54 profit.
After the 2020 election, betfair didn't settle for over a month, the prices on Trump & Biden often = 100% so it was possible to lay both of them for zero risk and zero profit and get huge greens on the rest of the market. A vanity play that couldn't win or lose. |
