I`ve had this problem a few times, but noticed it only happened when I`ve had many hundreds of bets (quite possibly the 1,000 referred to in the OP), in the same market. It`s a real pain trying to figure out what`s been matched since you last checked; I never found a solution.

Two minutes of reflection on this, and I realised it`s only actually happened to me once, but it was also in the POTUS market, that of 2020. Perhaps no surprise as, with the market lasting four years, plenty of time to have 1,000+ bets

Also noticed this. Think there's a number of bets you have before it kicks in and it may well be 1000. I don't know a way around it except perhaps using software. I've noticed it also has trouble displaying open bets on a mobile when it gets to this stage, not just seeing whats been matched but also viewing and editing unmatched bets. Although that could just be my phone.

Try this
1) log off 2) log on 3) navigate to a market where you have a small number of matched bets 4) set to "order by matched date" 5) navigate to offending market. does it show your bets correctly? |

Doesn`t work, I`m afraid, or at least it didn`t for me. I had this problem for maybe two or three months months, and the frustration caused by trying to keep track of somewhere between 10-30 bets a day, seeing my reds and greens had changed but not knowing who I`d backed or laid, had me trying all such work-arounds, to no avail. The closest I got was to have a separate tab open for `My Account`, showing `My Bets`; kinda works, but it`s a pain, not the same

It doesn't work for me either.
It looks like the function to display by matched date has been disabled on the offending market, the tick box is greyed out and not interactive, so Betfair have probably put a trigger in place to disable the function when a certain number of bets are reached. I used to screenshot pages a lot when I first lost it but timbuctooth's workaround is probably better. I'm used to working without it so I'm not fussed anymore. |

I've had it on specials markets as well as 2024 US election so I think it applies on all markets.

Yeah, it definitely seems to be a 1,000 bet limit for the 'order by matched date' function.
I have the problem on the 2024 election market, which I believe is the 1st market I have done 1,000 bets on. I'm sure I've had many markets in the past when I have done 500+ bets. Currently the election is the only thing I'm betting on, but, between last August and late May I was doing the premier league H'Cap. Must have had 600 bets on that... But the order by matched date was fine on that, even as it stopped on the election. It is annoying indeed... eg The other day Biden was 2.92 to back, and I hadn't backed him in a while. My last few Biden bets I'm sure had been lays. But I couldn't recall if the previous lay was @2.64 or 2.84. And that would be a factor in whether or not to back @2.92. |
