A series of short posts this week rather than a preview

Starting with Stage Star
Track form
3rd in a bumper
PU over hurdles
4th of 5 over fences
5th of 5 over fences
started fav for the last 2

Nicholls horses are often over the top in the spring
This one hasnt run since Jan but still cant have him

Will be laying him

would like to see Spillanes Tower run well, but not sure i would be confident about him translating his obvious ability to a race like this

but the others including Ahoy Senor should ensure Stage Star doesnt prosper

Grey Dawning wouldnt be rock solid either, given how he got on at Aintree last year
3rd of 5 when fav

Lossiemouth v Con Hill
not a betting medium
Con Hill wasnt convincing when he won this 2 years ago despite never looking like losing (i was at the course)
Think De Boinville will let him kick on this time though

Lossiemouth the safer bet if you must have a bet

Wodhooh is entitled to run well

Wodhooh ran an absolute cracker and NDB rode like a 7lbs claimer, how does NJH stick with him as stable jockey.

Lossiemouth very game today.

if Nico doesnt do the business on Jonbon tmrw, his job could be untenable

even if Con Hill didnt fall, Nico cost him 5 to 10 lengths sending him up a blind alley

and the first 2 didnt stop so he would have needed to fly

Looked more beaten than the likely winner I thought with some slight signs of distress (I thought) by the rider.

The horse needs to bounce out and try and make all and get a good look at the flights not the way they've ridden it last twice.

yes, looked beat

Grey Dawning must be a decent horse because he didnt run well at alland still finished a close 2nd

Stage Star jumped excellently and the course didnt beat him but clearly ran out of petrol

spillanes tower being a NR and Embassy Gardens pulling up took depth out of the race

Be interesting to see how Harry Skelton rides the Melling Chase

Worst result for the Skeltons would be El Fabiola to win

Wonder will he ride to pick up the pieces if either or both of the top2 throw in a howler

small field should suit Jonbon and he is still the one for me, price drifting which is fair enough

surprised Matata is within 10lbs of the principals
had him 15 or more behind in my own head

saved his bacon

going with Lulamba tmrw for more Nico fun

3m hurdle is an enigma
Teahupoo cant go properly on that ground
Elliott's winners at Wexford dont cut any ice with me
but good luck to him

Kitbhuzel is intriguing, is he good enough? Will he stay?
Find out tmrw

Home by the Lee will probably find a way to lose

Strong Leader - expecting a better run than earlier in the season

Monmiral might go well at a big price
Nicholls horses doing reasonably well this week also and this fella likes Aintree

Lulamba N/R,yeah Strong Leader goes well here and might be worth a look, the National a pin stick job,Young O'Briens with Gleeson up might be worth a tickle in the finale, best of luck all.
