Grey Dawning and Ginnys Destiny ran more or less to form.
It Etait Temps clearly loves Leopardstown and is adequate or worse at Cheltenham.
So had a feeling he would do fine at Aintree.
Wasnt a betting race.

The juvenile hurdle was awful.
Favs flipflopped twice.
Sir Gino ballooned the 2nd and 3rd last.
He was clearly the best horse, wasted loads of energy and finished tired.
Kargese jumped better than Sir Gino but ran with the choke out and was spent by the last.

Kalif du Berlais is a chaser in the making and will be a good one.
This was never his track and he ran ok.

This is the worst bunch of 4yos in a while.
Triumph was poor also.

The Bowl was an odd race, Bravemansgame dictated the pace but was gone by 2 out.
This isnt his track but more importantly he is always over the top by April
Ahoy Senor loves this track and ran above his general form.
Gerri Columbe looked in trouble but outstayed the field
Corbetts Cross, a curious choice for the race. Ran well. Could win a bad Gold Cup but next years race wont be anywhere near bad.
Shiskin won this in 2023 but the race wasnt as strong.
He was unlucky in the King George but could be on the way out.

2m4f Hurdle
The best finish of the week
Impaire et Passe strong in the market, Bob Olinger not so, which wasnt justified imo.
I thought Bob got up on first glance
Langer Dan was shafted
Surprised the places werent altered, very surprised
A big swing in the trainers championship as a result, pardon the pun
Nicholls particularly and Skelton have a severe lack of genuine big guns to win big races with.
Skelton does well in Handicap hurdles obviously.
End of season staying chases like Scottish National and 365 cup arent their cup of tea.
It's hard to guage the money but if Willie targets Sandown he should do it.

it's embarrassing really

Thought Rachel had Bob Olinger a bit far back turning in on such bad ground, think the interference was as much caused by Langer Dan so wasn't really surprised there was no change.
