Is it healthy for the sport ?

Most trainers would consider that a good total for the year ( certainly outside the top 10)

Without checking I think it's 8 of 10 grade 1s

Again almost any other tra6would consider 1 grade 1 a good season.

Hats off and you have to admire him but is it healthy long term ?

I have my doubts.

Well done him Bolger today btw.

Does it the hard way.

Hope all 19 were thoroughly tested for various substances.

The lack of form for both the Foster and De Bromhead yards over the week cleared the way for Mullins
Jessie had a good week with 3 winners but were low profile races
Noel Meade salvaged a poor week with Jeff Kidder

Most of the Grade1s had multiple Mullins runners and without the 2 Nicholls winners the haul would have been even more impressive with Al boum and Billaway 2nd

Where Mullins shone was mopping up the handicaps particularly with iffy jumpers Asterion Forlonge and Brahma Bull
The 1-2 in the stayers wouldn't have been obvious this time last week

on the negative side, Sir Gerhard may not be as good as we thought
Monkfish probably needs soft ground to jump better in a rhythm
Appreciate missed out but hopefully only a minor issue

Sir Gerhard and Envoi Allen surely too bad to be true on the day,we know they are better than that.

It was just Willie's meeting, ever Asterion Forlonge remembered how to jump.
