Heading to the capital for a few days during punchestown and looking for a few good betting shops close bye to each other which would take a decent bet.Preferably Paddies and Laddies with a good pub nearby Thsnks in advance

never been to ireland, only when i got blessed, wont get any good advice out of me
Sorry Murphys misread your post, I hear Paddys in Lucan are okay for a chunky bet, others may disagree though...Plenty of good pubs there also.

Cant comment on whether a shop will take a bet, most seem to take a few hundred these days with the recession over without dialing up head office.
Hard enough to find a Ladbrokes outside the city centre(Abbey st x2 plus Marlboro) these days with the exception of Cabra.
Places with a Lads with a Paddies nearby.
Cabra obviously
Finglas (bit of a walk)
Ballyfermot (good walk)
Beaumont (good walk and u need to know the area)
Dunboyne Co.Meath (handiest for punchestown)

Raheny, 30 yards between them, 2 pubs next door also and a Dart station.
It's a bit late now anyway but dunboyne is hardly handy, must be 30 miles away at least.
