We have all seen the shows from Dundalk on a Friday nite and the disparity with the Exchange price. unfortunately i dont attend Dundalk so am never aware what prices are actually on display in the ring
However i visited Punchestown today and for the 3.15 race the eventual winner was available with 18 of the 24 bookmakers present at 7/2 including all the prominent layers. The show been displayed in the off course offices and online was 3/1 at the same time.
There is evidently a very obvious manipulation of the shows been collated by SIS and been transferred to the off course industry.
on a separate note the recent Irish Times article regarding the alarming slump in TOTE turnover been attributed to bets no longer been accepted from ISREAL is frankly amazing and surely the time is ripe for the Tote to be sold and achieve a high street presence in some form

They fail miserably on the high street in England.

And the disparity issue is an old one also, as you know.

Has always been there, magic sign  blah blah.
