LEOPARDSTOWN CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

I have my whole Christmas planned around the four day meeting.
St Stephens Day, a brisk walk around the block, before a perusal of the card. Then a Full Irish Breakfast around 10am, before final decisions on Day One are made. If it is the traditional maiden hurdle start at 12.20p.m, then I shall be preparing myself ahead of the whole Meeting with the main focus being the Grade One events. The highlights for me are usually the Leopardstown Chase on the 28th, the 27th is a very tricky day normally I find, but if I am going into day three with a lead I think it could be a very tasty day four....

Before I plan a summer campaign with mikado, kimberly, coconut creams and mi wade, three thousand lyons green tea bags, twenty packets of lavazza black with a box of tayto. I might be seriously adventurous and throw in a half packet of knorr soup mix for the coddle. The 2019 campaign for me will be an interesting one. The hardest thing for me personally is dealing my alcohol problems and my addictive nature. is that an Irish thing? Of course there is nothing more I love then getting stuck into a few pints of plain, yes I have seriously overdone it in the past but I have to have a more responsible outlook to my issues. Right. Who fancies a great season in 2019? I certainly do, so I will be very selective in my unit/point betting for everyone. For a lot of people I have to be a talisman so that makes my life even trickier. But with that responsibility goes a ruthless streak. It is a very interesting year next year and there are some moments where things are a penalty kick if you think about it guys..... Now, the Roscommon meets I find can be very infomative as the ground seems to be of a reasonable standard.

14 more sleeps.....sadly due to Mammy being very ill I will have to be at family HQ on duty looking after the clan, but she has agreed that Leopardstown's coverage will take precedence on the tele. She knows it makes sense. God bless her, she said "Son, I have something to ye. I need you to stay at base camp London during Xmas and New Year. I have to possibly undergo surgery for cancer."
