Why don't Ireland try the long ball -y'know, hoof it high into their half and confuse their defence thus creating gilt-edge chances for our goal-hungry forwards?
Otherwise the world will miss out on seeing Ireland's special brand of ,er,'football' and the World Cup will be the poorer for it.  |

Martin is deluded.
We had to make changes'No point wondering''have to go for it'. But not in the away leg.. And we are not good enough but we beat Germany and we beat Wales AWAY. Whats the point even selecting Wes to not use him but play a 34 yr old up front for 180 minutes in 4 days.. Honestly, he just makes it up as he goes then storms off like a kid spitting his dummy. |

I have to say I'm glad we ain't going to Russia,that was shambolic to say the least,we played right into their hands, every manager should ask themselves the question, what happens when we go in front then try to protect our lead,answer, we get beat 90% of the time.To score you MUST attack,we were simply awful,the gas thing was Martin was out telling Christe to attack AFTER we went behind.Many of our players are simply not good enough,I hardly knew that Henrick was playing the same as Sat. One thing I will say is,they gave their all and we can't ask for anything more.
