Espoir D'Allen I thought this fellow was impressive when I saw him at Punchestown. I got the impression he was up to Listed class. Road to Respect also won well at Punchestown and will take all the beating in the big one,Our Duke a huge danger but still has to prove himself up to this class.Disco has long been a fav of mine and though the trip looks a little on the short side I'm willing to take the chance, finally my D.R. yankee ends with William Du Berlais, this lad is well capable of winning this under a light weight, been hiding his light under a bushel recently imo...
  Good luck all...

Our Duke rated 10lb above Road to Respect and won the Irish National by 14lts off a mark of 153.Doubt he has much more to prove.

Our duke wouldn't be a horse i'd be steaming into today at a shade of odds on, not saying he won't win but no  value in his price. The horse with the best form in the book imo, (which i thought would have had a very good chance in the grade 2 2 1/2 miler) so interesting he turns up here, has to prove he stays this far but worth a play for me eachway at the prices with the dead 8. Sub Lieutenant @ 12/1.

Joe O Brien's looked a price at 7/4 in the maiden, but that is gone a little 13/8 left, the horse seems to have been put aside for a winter camapaign so you assume the ground is no issue, Dis Donc is the obvious danger. Colwinston back from a break, might have place claims if ready.
