Nice to see a small bit of interest still here going by the Punchestown thread, it was a good NH card.
Grand Partner 5.00
First look it is a 9yo only having won a maiden on the flat, still i think he run well and have a little on @ 10/1,1/5 5 places with pp. Reasons why i done him,he has run creditably in a lot higher class, got dropped 2lb to sneak into this 60-80 on 79,has been backed which i do like to see with T M,has course form. Worries would be is the trip enough, possible he will meet trouble in such a big field.
It will be interesting to see how the hotpot (James Cook) in the second race goes as McMunigal in the 4th race beat him snugly FTO at Naas and might be worth a look.
Can't have that Jockey (Owner) on Brutal in the final race.

I considered Ibsen in the last, half the reason is pp swerving it,i'm not sure what big Gordon is up to either,v unlucky to have the ther 2 res go lame to let that fella in, in the end i'm bad enough without having a bet in it, probably will get a LOL or OMG from it.

Tend to agree Punch,Kenya had the run of the race.
First two looked obviuosly useful in the opener, James Cook i ddn't think is one for the trenches, head was v high, same probably with Cannonball who probably would have been better off staying on the inside.

I backed the runner up in the opener as well Pa,Smullen made his move just at the right time on the winner and the runner up had a wall of horses in front turning in.
