A great advert yesterday Tipp v Cork for free flowing hurling, it was some spectacle ! Lets hope we don't return to the pulling and dragging type of hurling that had crept in over the last decade or so (following the football route). It could be a classic year for hurling in 2017

yea it was some spectacle of skill and commitment yesterday 30000 lucky supporters.15 points all after 30 min.a score a min!!  it could be  a great year with 5/6 teams harbouring realistic hopes of walking up the steps of the hogan stand the first sunday in september..

It was good to see Cork have the balls to take on Tipp man for man, allowing their flair players to express themselves and be rewarded for doing so. Derek McGrath and Davy Fitz should take note. Waterford will probably shut up shop the next day and it will be interesting to see how Cork cope with that.

I didn't see it but great to see Cork not relying on their women for a change!
Maybe Tipp gone backwards a bit? Galway mullered them, anyway hopefully a few more teams in it and a few good games to come over the summer.
I like a good soccer match and not trying to knock other sports but what a damp squib that premiership is,went out thankfully yesterday and no loss, particulary the hype machine with it.

Yep, the Premiership is pedestrian in comparison to the fare in Thurles on Sunday.
