Did Stratford last year enjoyed it, was thinking of making the Sat evening meeting, but would be pushing it to get there then have to head on to Cheltenham after would be too much I'm afraid.I'm hoping to meet Orchardist, but his health is not the best ,my wife and I met him and his good wife in Avesbury last April, we had lunch in the famous pub the King visited then we spent the afternoon looking around the wonderful sights ,it's older than Stonehenge ,Orchardist loves his ancient England .

Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross,

Basic Rooms/ no swimming pool, good guinness and good food and approx 30 easy miles to track. That's where we go, either leave track during last race or sit it out, it can be crazy out of the place.

Naas Tourist Office have a contact number.35345898888.They may be able to help out with people in the town who might take in guests as a one off for raceweek. If you like a bit of fun when racing is over you are as well to stay around the town.Plenty of lively pubs open till 2am.Plenty of time to go for a cure in the morning and you are only 10 mins from the track.Suppose it depends on your budget as regards where to stay.Dont know anything about the eateries in Naas but for a town of its size i presume all budgets will be catered for.
