Yorkhill looked keen at start, quite alarming jumps to the left first few fences, warmed up last few, held up behimd, came through in straight Ruby pulling him, bit worried with first few, possibly could be very keen as well. Ruby smiling after.

Is that it? very poor, only showed the half dozen Mullins horses.
Hasn't really told us much, i doubt i could back Yorkhill at 6/4 ish on that though, evens with faller insurance if i did, a possible place lay would have to be considered also but that not because the horse isn't good enough.

I can understand to a very limited extent why one might potentially be against him. His runs at Aintree and Punchetown last year certainly showed his quirks.
They were going a crawl there today, he jumps much better at pace and when he gets a lead.
He's proven around Cheltenham (fresh), has buckets of ability, they know his quirks (will be produced late) and the opposition are non-existent. One of the strongest favourites of the festival would be my opinion.

He jumped to the left a bit at Fairyhouse also, his mistake was serious enough today, accept it may have been lack of pace but Cheltenham fences take no prisoners. I know gallops and racecourse two different things, that was enough to worry me there,it doesn't look a strong race alright(JLT)

13 years ago we watched Total Enjoyment do a spectacular bit of work on those gallops. I hadn't discovered Betfair at the time so we had to wait til Monday to get on,we missed the 33s got on at 14s but happy all the same.
It was our last great coup.

It did show O'Gradys grey Sky's The Limit as well, it looked just awesome that day, (dial up connection i think).
Maybe cut backs with staff,i don't know but it seemed a lot more comprehensively covered then, today was a farce and no effort with anything then the half dozen, i suppose to be fair if i had one going over i wouldn't want the world seeing a sparkling workout.

They are all working there tomorrow. Gordon Elliott is bringing over a big team.
There was more watching the gallops back then than attend the races now.

Speaking of Elliott he seems keen on Noble Endevor(Ultima) in the previews, a double figure price (just) who will go off 4/1 fav, has the form and talking of favs,a decent working mans priced one.
I would go with that as well By Purpose.Speaking of Elliott he seems keen on Noble Endevor(Ultima) in the previews, a double figure price (just) who will go off 4/1 fav, has the form and talking of favs,a decent working mans priced one.

Missed That was the year after and the 12/1 was collapsing as he was hacking up the home straight.

Joe Soap watching horses working tells him nothing.Trainers can learn plenty from it but the general public may as well be watching Eastenders. They don't weigh out for starters.

That's correct visor I mean how long ago was sky's the limit. The fact that he was a flashy grey meant he stood out too. If you were up in the stands bar you were a connection you wouldn't be able to tell them apart. Those preview nights I know are usually for a good cause but they're really only for mugs.

The preview nights are for a good cause alright. The miserable perishers on the panels who would not be their otherwise. Some of the poxdoctors wouldn,t scratch their arse bar they were getting paid for it.

Ye hurt me there lads(Mitch+FTV), i never said the gallops or previews were the end all and be all,i don't have much meas in either truth be told, still Yorkhill's schitzo(1st half versus 2nd) gallop was worth a mention. Despite it just being one of the middle tier races think it could well be the one whether punter or book comes out ahead(key horse in any Mullins combos) as it looks black or white in the view you take.
