Workrider what about Rocketfingers lads, they bring in a whole new team and a 45 year old brazilian with a few hours off work bags a hattrick against them. Sad outfit, maybe it's time they let locals try out for the team, the 1 local lad is gone over the hill.

Gant, not sure what too make of them tbh,I know very little about them, hopefully they pull their finger out this year, crowds dropping alarmingly. I was playing golf in the region in Sept and dropped in to see a friend, you might remember him on here Sligo Red ,a smashing lad and great supporter, they were playing Dundalk and needed the points, place was far from full.Plenty of glory hunter supporters when they're doing well, fall away when the glory days are over.Sligo is one of the furthest outpost for us here in Dublin, yet we always seem to bring a great crowd. Dundalk's supporters were very unsporting re their ex players on Fri night, booing every time they got the ball,a few unsavory incidents both on and off the ball re Finn as well.I wonder were all these supporters were 5 yrs ago, hopefully the football does the talking for the rest of the season.

Rocketfingers doesn't offer much to the sport, he never even mentioned during his attack on Friday that the league was starting. I didn't even know and to be fair our local radio station LMFM are massive supporters of Dundalk FC. The likes of Sligo Rovers could be one of the 3 who go down this year, they could be wiped out in a short time.
As for Dundalk fans......Success brings arrogance. Only one way to stop that.

Workrider / huddys if you're planning to come up to Inishowen to see Rovers play Derry in May let me know and we can meet up for a few pints.
Buncrana and the surrounding area is a lovely part of the country.

Workrider, the state of your pitch, it.s awful. The groundsman will have to take the animals off the field the night before the match, a few hours before it doesn't work.
We were in the same boat years ago before we build our new facility, sheep leave a better surface.

The pitch is perfect most nights Gant, we had 2 inspections before they allowed the game go ahead, terrible conditions on the night.I was in Killarney over the weekend, most of the National Park is under water, loads of water everywhere in Kerry some fields flooded,so its not only Dublin that's affected.

The football Rovers played in the conditions was too say the least pleasing,if we continue in the same vane for the rest of the season I shall be very happy.
