Cest Jersey taking it that Ruby will ride this and getting 3lb From Gettys is taken to win.
Burgas has run some nice races in defeat and looks as if the stiff finish here will suit .
Jezki,Jessie said she had him right at Xmas, he has run well fresh before, so taken on inferior rivals and if fit should do the business, but a look in the paddock advised.
Watching the Opening show earlier noticed Paddy Kehoe coming in with Douvan at Cheltenham with that famous coat of his, haven't seen him on track for years ,anyone know if he's still around.

It wouldn't be the greatest surprise if he ended up in Navan Deargdubh,Ascot was never going to be on.

The fact that he didn't run over Christmas is enough to put me off placing a bet. Opened 8/11 yesterday Jezki already out to 6/4. One of my favorite horses but over 2m's now maybe a tad stiff at this age. Renneti and Tombstone both very good horses open to improvement. Obviously Renneti needs to start has been forgotten about since running over the flat for me.

I will probably be backing Jezki for the Stayers think he has a very decent shout E.w if he retains his ability. We all know the McManus way with these horses you'd be silly to back him today FTO with so much time off today for me is just about getting a run into him. Seen it before with Binocular Fishers Cross in recent years. (Cheltenham winners) Not to say I wont be cheering him on today. GL

Do however agree with Burgas, Think he has a great shout EW.

I backed Renneti at 11/2 last night with bet 365, its a big ask to expect  Jezki to be anywere near his best after his long lay off, agree about  Burgas ,looks a e/w to nothing.

Rennetti is a very good horse has had its issues in the past in regards to starting races remember backing it a couple of years ago at about 3's by the time the race started was about 12's didn't fancy running that day since then has had some decent form over the flat. Would be tempted with a small EW double for interest Renneti + Burgas,

Fks sake I must be a bad luck charm for Duke Cass. Backed him 4 of his last 8 hurdle starts and he's won the other 4. For the rest of the day:

1.35 Mr Moondance 25/1. Needs things to really fall his way but Yaha Fizz should give him the strong pace he needs to aim at and he won on the flat at this track.
2.10 Art Of Synergy 10/1. Not far off the standard here on the form he showed for Sandra Hughes and Meade has really improved the other one he got from the owners.
2.45 Highest Benefit 16/1. Trainer does well with handicap hurdlers and surely just out for a spin last time. His Tipperary second puts him bang there.

Good shot WR,you are in good form,

Presume Haydock moved 5 mins to get away from Lingfield and Navan stayed as advertised. Some crap and it looks as if Navan could have helped out and choose not to.

Poor alright, Bristol de Mai mighty impressive even though it was a limited handicap, soft at Cheltenham and not without a chance.

Had a look in the paddock and decided against backing Jezki, I thought he needed the run, Poor judgement on my behalf. He won as the rating said he would. Burgas was getting caught from 2 out, he was out on his feet at the last. Cest, won like a horse that will progress after today's win.
