Well done Stephen, easily the best manager in Ireland, Gant & Co must be raging over that one when he heard the result while at the Mullingar dogs last night.

Delighted for the chap, it's nice to see small sports get recognition. You would get fed up with the big boys cleaning up all the time. Kenny did a great job punching above his class.
The Dundalk supporters had a knees up at their local track Friday night, they are gutted their 2 star players are gone to Preston NE, most predict they are will be back as they are unlikely to get game time.

I'm not sure but I hope it's a lot more than the €60,000 clueless Sligo Rovers got for Seamus Coleman.

Both lads out of contract, btw Sligo Rovers received €175k for our international captain Cool

It was €60000, bargain of the century. It was like buying a horse of a trainer with no gallop, putting 8/9 hard months training into him to bring him up to scratch and winning at Cheltenham.

The lad was lucky to get out of the place. Rags to riches story.

Go away ya spoofer, add ons, a few bags of chips and a set of jerseys. You lads hadn't a clue, Everton have stated he was a bargain at €60,000.
It's no shame to make mistakes.

Laugh Name calling, you know you have a man well beaten when it starts. Add on are part and parcel of transfers, your little team Meath would have no idea of this. I am sure any fellow Sligo Rovers fans will confirm this btw.

fair play to stephen kenny .a worthy winner for sure.and rocket its well known that loi clubs have been shamefully exploited over the years transferring lads over the water.all it took was a  financial clause of x amount when if they got capped for ireland and y% of future transfer fees...the english club obviously would also benefit from that arrangement..sadly its only being done in the last few years..and in the unlikely event of sligo actually getting 175k in total its still a shameful amount for the best full back in england..

Rocketfingers, Surely with all that money you should be able to buy a title rather than be a mid table team.
