Westland Row in the bumper looks to have a good chance , running green in both starts, plus a little unlucky lto, should have got the hang of things and is worth a punt.

Lots of rain round these parts over the last few days.Theoretically it should be a day for laying favourites but they have a high success rate at Tramore.Anyone getting heavily involved tomorrow us either very brave or very stupid.

Call Vinnie in the novice chase by Vinnie Roe out of a Turtle Island mare-disappointing sort all his life but could be worth a modest each way bet at 13/2.

Supreme Steel in the 1.55. Nice runs in bumpers on bad ground. Backed it last time when going to finish third only to unseat at the last. Rubbish race and should go close.

12.55 looks good for a low grade race. Roumanian and Adreamstillalive have obvious claims but Platinum Express at 25/1 is my pick. The trainer (Liam Cusack) has an exceptional record in handicap records and an exceptional record with David Mullins riding for him. Handicap debut tomorrow and there was some minor promise in his runs in good maiden hurdles.
Maiden hurdles should be won by the Mullins horses though Torrent Des Mottes looks to have the better opponents. A few interesting ones in the beginners, Thats Mypresenting looked in need of a bigger stamina test last time (ground could provide that), likes the course but after his win they said he loves good ground so I can stay away. Line View in the 3.00 looks a proper Tramore specialist too but I'd be very concerned about the trip and his recent point to point run. Fluspar obviously looks well handicapped in that one but I'd like to see him win first. BWS I'd be concerned about the Fahy stable form for that one. 1-74 this season. Rubbish race though I agree. In all a fare more interesting card than I expected of a Tramore Thursday. |

Wouldn't worry about Fahy. Had a point winner 2 weeks ago and the horses with chances he is sending out are running alright.

The mooch looks to have a nice e/w chance there in a handicap hurdle. Much lower mark over flights and should handle the ground better than most of them

3.35 Roisin a Chroi a speculative long shot in the bumper.
By Kayf Tara out of a Roselier mare she will relish the heavy ground, the heavier the better. Had a recent run over hurdles on yielding. Norn likes a prep over hurdles for bumpers |

Bigwillie i backed Supreme Steel at 9/1 last night im not sure if he got a bad ride or the horse is a monkey; maybe both. There was plenty of money for him ,i have no doubt he one worth watching,

Eddie i think Call Vinnie would have won but for bad landing at the last, some good finishes at tramore to day.
|
|
By:
I'd say he is not much use. Didnt look to travel early on and would have gladly taken a place after a couple of hurdles. As was mentioned above, Fahy not in great form and it probably didnt help.

2nd in a Competitive race wasn,t a bad run Willie, i keep a eye out in his grade.

Decent day's racing in Tramore despite it being a cold December thursday on brutal ground!
Christy Roach trained 'Living Dream' landed the gamble of the day from what I could see; nice ride by Mark Walsh IMO. Nice call Willie with Supreme Steal; unlucky not to go one better..the race was there to be won. I thought the bumper had a cracking finish...Thought Katie Walsh was going to drive Mr Showtime to the line but apparently she lost her stick.. |
