The leader of a political party going round the countryside in a blacked out van pointing out where people were murdered. Surely it could only happen in Ireland , ok the pope has a pope mobile, and ministers have high powered ministerial cars, but the shinners preferred mode of transportation, is the blacked out van.
The people who voted for these yokes should be very proud of themselves.

Mr Ellis roared: “I have nothing to do with this. I refute any allegations.”
He said he was in jail during the period in question.

“You’re a disgrace,” he roared at Mr Farrell before demanding the TD “come outside” and repeat his comments.
“Come outside if you have any guts,” he shouted.

There is so much wrong with that statement from a nationally elected representative, it's hard to know where to start.

U'd be embarrassed for a secondary school lad if he came out with  “Come outside if you have any guts"

It's a national disgrace that the people of Ireland have elected this filth. Whatever about the Mings and Wallaces of this world , they may well be joke candidates, but at least they don't have the chequered pasts of the shinner scum.
I wonder if and when Joe Reilly gets out , would he have a chance of getting a seat? He may lack the experience of some of the sitting TD's but apart from that, he's perfect.

Its an interesting defence all the same,I couldn't have murdered that prison officer as I was in jail at the time.
Hardly becoming of a TD.

Mind you he could have ordered it from his prison cell,he had a motive.

Hard to disagree with any of the sentiment here. Hopefully they're as big as they're going to get.

While i never have, nor never will, vote SF the only hope that party has is to get rid of the old guard at the top. Easier said than done i know. Whats not in doubt is they have some very good performers (Doherty, o broin, toibin) whether you or i agree with their politics or not

O'Broin is one of the biggest spoofers to ever take a seat in the Dail and that place has some history of spoofers.

Not so long ago any anti-Shinner view would have all contributors here down as marked men/women.

They've either been collectively banned or the "code red2 edict from Belfast on all matters media has been withdrawn.
