A smashing guy, works his socks off in practice, always has a word for others who might come over and want to speak to him. the place he used in Lucan is now closed. Its good to see him getting a few quid .

Thegigolo is spot on,those pockets are ridiculous.
They seem to have widened the middle pockets more Its probably a sign of the times,I love the tactical battles but the modern watcher wants big breaks and they don't care if the pockets are like pool pockets. |

I looked up the rules on this Wilman. Pockets on all snooker tables vary in size depending on which template is used when putting the rails on the table. However the pockets on tournament tables are fairly strictly adhered to & are always tighter than on any club table you may play on, although sometimes as has been said on the tv all this week they sometimes accept the balls easier when the cloth is in new condition. I hope this answers your question for you, Great snooker by Fergal nevertheless.

In the 2007 Northern Ireland Trophy Ronnie O'Sullivan made five centuries - the first time that has ever been achieved in a ranking event best-of-nine match. The third-round match, which he won 5-2, was played 8 November against Allister Carter (England). Ronnie warmed up with 108, 122 and 107 intaking a 3-1 lead before a 147. Carter pulled one frame back then O'Sullivan closed with a 129 total clearance. heres a link that might be of help if your in to snooker records. http://www.snooker.org/plr/records.shtml
