Is it the expense of keeping horses and the time you have to hold onto jumps horses that drags it down?
Are stores not really making money? 500k very steep alright thinking on it, but couldn't one of hers go for serious money should it piss up in a point. |

And I'm surmising the problem is that in National Hunt, they are as likely to come from near enough any mare as a mare with a good race record or from a good family!
